Dog and Puppy Training

We are a professional training service offering intensive one to one training for dogs and puppies in our local area - Wimbledon, Wandsworth, Kingston, Putney and New Malden. We use modern methods and our clients benefit from a useful mix of training and behaviour management.

Puppy Home Start Training:

Your puppy will learn more in its first 3 to 13/16 weeks than it will for the rest of its life. At this stage they are most receptive to learning - don't waste the opportunity. Pre-purchase consultations can avoid common pitfalls. Take your first lesson within days of bringing home your puppy at 7 or 8 weeks.  Avoid behaviour problems in later life.

Juvenile Dog Training:

As early as 6 months, lack of early training and behaviour management begin to cause problems. Over excitement, leash pulling, ignoring requests to come back, jumping up, destruction, barking, nuisance behaviours and house soiling are common. A carefully tailored programme  of personal tuition will help you to identify and deal with the problems.

 Behaviour Management:

Problems - you hoped the puppy would grow out of them - of course it didn't. Bad experiences during puppyhood. Fear responses that were poorly handled. Now your dog is showing signs of fear, shyness, separation related disorders, noise phobias, barking, growling, destruction, elimination issues, anxiety and handling issues.  Start dealing with them before they escalate any further.

Lifestyle Changes and Senior Dogs:

Changes to your lifestyle can be traumatic for any dog - the arrival of a baby, new jobs, separation, house moves, or general changes to routine are all unsettling. Be proactive - prepare your dog for them in advance with individual sessions. Senior dogs benefit from training - an old dog can learn new tricks and it helps with the ageing process.
